There’s something about film that will always feel a little bit like magic to me.

You never quite know what you’re going to get — how the light will fall, how the colours will come through, or which tiny, in-between moment will end up being your favourite. There’s no checking the back of the camera, no taking twenty versions just to be sure. You slow down, trust yourself, and take the shot.

And I think that’s what I love most about it.

Film has this beautiful imperfection to it. The grain, the softness, the unexpected little quirks — it captures a moment exactly as it was, while somehow making it feel like a memory at the same time.

In a world where everything can be instant and perfected, film asks us to slow down, be intentional, and let a little bit of the magic be left to chance. 🎞️
